Ericka D. Olson specializes in governmental entities such as Title 32 special districts, municipalities and political subdivisions. She assists in the day to day representation of such entities by providing solutions to the various legal issues that arise in the course of their operation.

Ms. Olson regularly interprets and drafts documents such as intergovernmental agreements, resolutions and ordinances. She has provided guidance to clients on matters such as employment related issues, constitutional issues, trademark and copyright law, unclaimed property law, the applicability of governmental immunity, eminent domain, licensing requirements, insurance coverage and tax exemptions.

Ms. Olson earned her Juris Doctorate in 2006 from Michigan State University, College of Law and was admitted to the Colorado Bar later that year. In 2002, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, cum laude. While in law school, Ms. Olson served as the Community Service Chairperson of the Business Law Society, was a member of the Journal of Business and Securities Law, competed in two moot court competitions and received a full merit scholarship.
